München- Dortmund: München -1 @ 1.95 !! 2 units!!
On paper and regarding recent form it s a mismatch and it should be on the pitch as well.
München is the cruising thru the league. the bundesliga is basically won and now they are going for the triple (cup and uefa-cup). that s their goal they are talking about whole season.they are in form by beating Dortmund 5-0 at home last sunday and Frankfurt away 3-1 on wednesday.
They rested already players for he midweek match so fatigue will not be a factor at all.
they have a great history in cup finals, winning 5 of last 6 (only loss vs. bremen in penalties) and have dominated those finals. i could go on to find positive reasons for bayern..summarized they are mentally, physically and tactically the best team in germany and focused on this final.
Dortmund played a terrible season in league. they had a good run in the cup combined with some nice draw, but they made it to the final. this already secured them a uefa-spot for next year. already since 2 weeks before the semi-final the whole team seems to not care anymore about the league. focussing only on the cup or what is probably more the reality, suggesting to themselves that they are doing so.
i faded them in league lately because of that and looking for reasons why this game can be close.
they lost 0-5 at München (it was 0-4 after 22 min) and followed that by a 1-3 home loss to Hannover on wednesday.
there is already a lot of talk around the club that the coach will get sacked if they not win the final.
reasons you can hear in public for Dortmund are: we are bouncing back from Bundesliga, a cup final is different. we will all be much more concentrated and motivated....
this is all crap IMO. i dont expect another 5-0 here again, but if you have no confident preparation at all before such a game, what let s them think they can go from 0 to 100 in 1 day.
